As a afternoon summer storm hits Taipei's Yuanshan district, the members of Pangolin muse on how it will affect their coming show. "Looks like it's calming down, probably the beginning of the end", states Mark Darvill hopefully. Unfortunately these predictions turn out to be false, and as the rain falls Pangolin play their unique blend of ska punk rock and roll to growing numbers of watchers, some huddled under umbrellas, while the more adventurous give up and dance in the rain. As a band made up of three part Brits, and one part American, Pangolin play a set spiced with covers of "Oh Canada", and " Everybody wants to rule the world", as well as many Pangolin originals. Later, one of the venders at a stall selling Canadian favorite Poutine will remark, "This Pangolin band are actually pretty good".
